SEND & Speech & Language Therapy
At The Davenport School, we have a dedicated Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) who ensures pupils have every opportunity to fully access the curriculum by:
- Providing advice, training and support to all staff
- Ensuring that appropriate support is in place
- Maintaining effective communication with parents, carers and other professionals
- Ensuring that relevant information about pupils is collated, recorded, communicated, and maintained
We have a qualified and experienced Speech and Language Therapist who works closely with the SENCO, staff and pupils. Our Speech and Language Therapist works on a one to one or small group basis with pupils who have communication needs.
