Whether as a Residential Worker, Learning Support Assistant, Manager or any other role within Ethelbert Children's Services, we can guarantee that your career will be stimulating, challenging and extremely rewarding. No two days will be the same and the variety of responsibilities you undertake will ensure that you develop your existing skills and learn many more along the way.
You'll receive comprehensive support and training from day one when you'll be introduced to a six-month induction programme, designed to equip you with all the basic skills and knowledge required to achieve success in your chosen field. You'll then quickly progress towards achieving a nationally recognised qualification that will serve to enhance your professionalism and assist your ongoing career progression. Ongoing training and development opportunities are available through our dedicated, City & Guilds accredited, training and development centre.
We are always interested to hear from experienced care workers, education staff, managers and specialists, as well as people that are considering a career working with children and young people for the very first time.
