SEMH Teacher | Key Stage 3 & 4

Salary £25,714 to £36,961 (NASUWT Salary Scale M1 to M6 dependent on experience)

The Old Priory School is a small specialist Secondary Independent SEMH school based in Ramsgate, Kent.  The school has a maximum roll of 33 children across the five year groups.  There is a high ratio of staff to students to support our children access Education.  The school has a fulltime SENCo and there is support from a Speech and Language Therapist.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Teacher to work with our KS 3 and 4 pupils.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the teaching and learning of mixed age and ability students. The teaching needs to be creative, exciting, and engaging. 

As an individual, the successful candidate needs to be able to teach across a couple of curriculum subjects, be resilient, energetic, and enthusiastic in creating a fun learning environment for our students to begin to enjoy school and education.

A good understanding of SEND, lesson planning, assessment and the national curriculum is essential for the post.

Full references, including an enhanced DBS, will be in place before commencing employment, with a proposed starting date as soon as possible.
