You will be joining a highly regarded agency who received a strong "Good" OFSTED rating in their last inspection.


We are seeking a confident, ambitious individual with fostering experience looking to develop their career.


As practice manager you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Leadership skills and knowledge.
  • Experience of staff supervision.
  • Excellent assessment skills with a high attention to detail.
  • An ability to meet deadlines.
  • A strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and fostering procedures.
  • Quality assurance experience.
  • Contributions to the development of the fostering service.
  • Creative thinking.

As practice manager you will not hold a caseload but will support the team to develop best practice, to focus on improved outcomes for children. Ensuring compliance with regulations, legislation, implementing any changes in practice legislation.


You will also advise and support the fostering panel and support the Registered Manager to lead this energetic and established team.


The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of the supportive senior management team, championing a medium sized social workers team. Alongside the social workers, we also have access to; support workers, therapists, education and health champions and ISW’s who all contribute effectively to the team around each child. In addition, access to dedicated administration support.
