We are currently recruiting experienced, child focused, children's residential home managers to compliment our existing team of professionals across Kent and South East London. The successful candidates will be able to prove a successful career to date in residential childcare at a supervisory or management level. Deputy Head Teacher

Ramsgate

We are currently seeking to appoint a Deputy Head Teacher for our specialist KS 3/4 education provision, The Old Priory School. The successful applicant will hold QTS and have a minimum of five years teaching experience with some supervisory responsibility. Additionally, an understanding of the educational challenges faced by children and young people who present with behavioural, emotional and/or social difficulties is essential..

Reporting to the Head Teacher, the post holder will:

• Assist in all managerial and supervisory elements of the school's operation

• Undertake full responsibility for the day to day running of the school in the Head Teacher's absence

• Plan, assess and maintain oversight of children’s education plans, teaching and learning

• Lead in the delivery of The National Curriculum and Alternative Curriculums

• Attend and inform PEP and SEN meetings

• Work collabritavely with other agencies and professionals

• Support pupils in forming and sustaining effective relationships

• Promote and celebrate diversity and equal opportunities

Learning Support Assistant
